This is a tabloid newspaper (456 total pages were produced in the 2002 calendar year).
A total of 20 issues are published per year -- monthly September through May and weekly during the
summer competition season.
The issues contain coverage of junior drum and bugle corps (division I, II and III), senior drum and bugle
corps (open and class A), alumni, military, parade and standstill drum and bugle corps.
Off-season news, feature articles, interviews, press releases and much more are also included.
Summer reviews of competitions and events are written by our staff of more than100 writers.
During the summer, 100% of the scores, most in the form of full recaps, are published.
We feature exciting pictures and art from our staff of 25 photographers and illustrators.
Worldwide competition and event schedules are listed prior to, and during, the season.
Advertising features the latest products and services for the drum and bugle corps activity.
Twice each year we conduct a historic record album auction that now also includes CDs, videotapes
and sets of Drum Corps World back issues from the 1970s and 1980s.
